Shake It Like It Owes You Money

This strip is a perfect example of the kind of thing that goes through my head on a pretty regular basis. More that it should I'm sure.

A scary situation happened today. While skimming though an article about a DC panel at Wondercon, I quit reading because I didn't give a shit. The panel featured the current creative teams on Teen Titans, Superman, All-Star Western, Vibe and more, and I couldn't bring myself to keep reading.

At some point over the last couple months, DC shot themselves in the foot one too many times by putting shitty creative teams on books, having notable writers quit and employing a sub-par (putting it nicely) fill-in artist staff. I've been dropping DC books from the Pull-List on a regular basis. The New 52 kicked off with some really strong stuff but a year and a half in everything seems to be falling apart.

Its disappointing because for a good while there it looked like DC was climbing out of being #2 and really developing themselves. Lately... its the proverbial shit show.

In other news, if anyone was sad to see there was no podcast from us this past week, you can rest assured we'll be back next week. Easter derailed the Fun Train, but we'll be back for more podcast hijinks. Keep checking here for when it gets posted.
