Annville Redemption

AMC’s announcement last week actually was that they are looking for an African-American actress to play Tulip in the upcoming Preacher series. Sorry, Morgan Freeman will not be playing Jesse Custer.

I understand why those in charge of casting this show would want to diversify the line up but it doesn’t make it any less foolish. Whatever happened to being as faithful as you can to the source material?  I guess it’s more important to push an agenda than to get the characters correct. -Soss
