Space Detective

The above comic is my homage to what I hope will be True Detective Season 2... in space... with a Marvel and DC team up... and finally getting some answer as to how Peter Quill got out of the Cancerverse but Richard Rider didn't. I would seriously nut if that's how it plays out. Nut HARD.

True Detective has been a revelation. Its an amazing show and I can't recommend it highly enough. I could certainly watch Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson for more than eight epidodes - the short amount of episodes the first season will run.

Its a blessing and a curse. A blessing because they're able to squeeze the most out of these two actors and story without any filler episodes. Every second of every episode matters. The curse of it is that its so good I want more. Eight episodes just isn't enough.

True Detective will take the American Horror Story route and change up the story and cast from season to season. McConaughey and Harrelson have done such a crazy good job that its hard to imagine the second season living up to it's predecessor's quality.

Here's hoping series' creator Nic Pizzolatto can make lightning strike twice... with or without Hal Jordan and Richard Rider.

  1. Richard Rider? Really? Do his friends call him Dick? What?

  2. No one said the creators of our favorite characters didn't have a good time while they were doing it.
