I'm really enjoying The Accursed arc. While the screen version of Malekith left much to be desired Jason Aaron's spin delivers a deranged and frightening dark elf renegade. He clearly is a match for Thor and The League of Realms. In fact, he seems like more then a match. This is the dynamic character missing from Thor: The Dark World.
I did have some problem's with Thor's behavior and leadership skills in this issue. He seemed more in line with the young, brash, impulsive god from the Vikings era then the proud Avenger we know and love.
Ron Garney is very good. The choice to go for a more painted style to match the tone of the previous arc is a good one. -Soss
