This strip more or less actually happened. Most frequently in a Buffalo Wild Wings last week, but over the course of mine and Soss' friendship, I'm sure this has happened quite a bit. Far be it from me to not point out when I'm having a good, nay, GREAT hair day.
Iron Man 3 was the big nerd news last week. I was able to see it opening night and wasn't disappointed. The general consensus is the general public loves it, and the nerd community, less so. Some serious plot twists have the nerd communities' panties in a bunch. I don't worship at the altar of Tony Stark, so I'm a less critical movie goer.
The bottom line is its a fun, entertaining movie. Does Guy Pierce play Aldrich Killian a little too "mustache-twirly?" Yes. Does Robert Downey Jr. make a few too many jokes. Perhaps. But aside from that its damn entertaining. And all us nerds should still just enjoy the fact that the properties we've loved for years are getting some quality mass media attention.
