Uncanny Avengers #7
This was one crazy ride. In the future the Apocalypse Twins use Thor's stolen axe to murder a Celestial. I'm not sure how this is going to tie into what is going on back on Earth in the present day. It seems like a far stretch from the events of the past few books.
Daniel Acuna fills in for the second month/week in a row and I'm officially annoyed. Not that his work isn't good because it is. It's the fact that the major selling point of Marvel NOW! was the new creative teams on each book. They are slowly changing out the artists on each title and that sure feels like bait and switch to me.
Iron Man #7
Tony fights for his life gladiator style while a strange robot alien works behind the scenes to call for help. Tony Stark fighting in an alien coliseum is a pretty strange concept. Strak isn't known to be the most physical of Marvel's hero's but his Chael Sonnen shit talking is worth the price of admission.
I gotta hand it to Greg Land. He hasn't missed an issue of this book since it's relaunch. The level of art is consistent and I have to give credit to him for keeping up the maddening rushed shipping schedule. -Soss
