Young Thor and a planet of god slaves hatch a plan to destroy Gorr's GodBomb while Old King Thor and Thor the Avenger race across the cosmos to do battle with The God Butcher. This book plays out in a very theatrical way. I felt like I was waiting for the Orc army to attack Helms Deep.
There isn't much I can say that I haven't already said in my seven previous reviews of this title. Thor: God of Thunder is an excellent read. Marvel fan or not, hell....comic fan or not I'm confident that you will enjoy this one. Jason Aaron pulls inspiration from Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Conan and wraps it all up with a Mjölnir bow.-Soss
