Modern Casting

I don't know anything about Ezra Miller. I hear that he was good in The Perks of Being a Wallflower but that's about it. It's a strange call to have him play The Fastest Man Alive. It's like the casting director took one look at the comic book version of Barry Allen and said, "Let's go in the totally opposite direction."

I don't want to be too harsh here since there have been many inspired casting choices in superhero films. Heath Ledger and Michael Keaton to name a couple. Maybe we will be adding Ezra Miller's name to the list of out-of-the-box style selections that help define the character for a generation. Or... maybe not. -Soss
