Foiled Again

I can't begin to tell you where this comic came from. At some point it appeared whole in my brain, and now its on the internet. What cracks me up is the untold story of a Skeletor scheme gone awry that lands him in Return of the Jedi instead of successfully defeating He-Man. Writing a twice-weekly comic is a weird landscape.

This past Sunday the McSoss crew took on The Nerd Exchange podcast in a live Marvel vs. DC debate at HackPittsburgh in Pittsburgh's uptown neighborhood. We got drunk, argued movies, animation, comics and much more. No one got hurt... except maybe some feelings.

Find our McSoss Special Edition Pittsburgh Pod Races episode at all your local podcast dealers. (first ones free... then at least a handy)

It was a pleasure sharing the stage with Tim, Kyle, Julia and Dina of The Nerd Exchange (@nerdexchange), though they couldn't be more wrong about Marvel being God's gift to pop culture. A great group of folks I recommend looking into.

A huge thanks to Sean McGrath from The GeekERIE (@the_geekERIE) for making the two hour trip to Pittsburgh to be our (mostly) unbiased moderator. Check out his site and twitter. Sean is going great work for literacy via comics in Erie, PA.

And a final thanks to HackPittsburgh for hosting the event and putting up with spilled beers, Red Bulls and other horseplay. HackPittsburgh is a non-profit that welcomes anyone to share space, equipment and ideas to further creativity in the community.

Give all of the above a shout. Each one made the first Pittsburgh Pod Races a really fun time.
