Comeuppance

Much like my burning hatred for the Star Wars Prequels, $oss feels the same about Deadpool. If you follow his reviews, he's made this quite clear. I prefer to "make mine DC," so I can honestly say I've never read anything with Deadpool in it. From what I've heard though, I don't understand why he's so damn popular. The popularity of the Merc with a Mouth, just like the popularity of Judge Dredd, honestly astounds me. Especially Judge Dredd. Who was asking for a remake of that?! OR the first one in the first place?! I love Karl Urban, but I'm kind of glad that tanked.

On a side note, here's the most ridiculous thing I've heard today and probably my entire life: "Attack of the Clones is better than The Avengers." I'm not even a fucking Marvelite and I almost murdered someone today. Like for reals homicide. SVU-style.

We all have different tastes and without such a cornucopia of them, comicdom and the greater world wouldn't be such a great place. That doesn't preclude me from thinking those opinions are retarded.
