The Future Is Now
Before the digital age, bad comics would traditionally go in the Flaming Trashcan. $oss and I are big proponents of "if its bad, quit buying it." Ergo... Trashcan.
Now that iPads and other devices have made digital comics more easily accessible, that makes the sweet satisfaction of lighting a bad book on fire a little more difficult. As bad as a recent Scott Lobdell book might be, I'd have a hard time dumping my laptop into the Flames of Justice.
So these days, with the more digital books we're buying, publishers are just going to have to feel the sharp sting taken out of their bottom line from month to month. sigh... that's just not the same as some good 'ol arson.
