This past August Spider-Man turned 50. Everyone's favorite wall-crawler has been around for a half century with the majority of his adventures taking place in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man. So how does Marvel Comics decide to celebrate this milestone? By canceling the title at issue #700.
While the character will be reborn in the poorly named Superior Spider-Man I can't help but to scratch my head and wonder what the hell Marvel Comics is doing. I know they are not in the business of pleasing everyone but I almost feel like they are going out of their way to anger their fans. -$
