Its No Little House On The Prairie
Through my long friendship with the Brizzle, he's been notorious for having a hard time following shows that run a lot of flashbacks or time travel or any kind of time displacement at all. The Brizzle likes a nice, clean linear story. i.e. Little House On The Prairie.
So when the Brizzle walks in on me watching Fringe there's an immediate disconnect. With all the time travel, alternate universes and flashbacks (sometimes whole episodes are flashbacks) he either has to leave or his head will explode.
This leaves me alone with Fringe. For all the nerdy friends I have, I am the only one who has truly invested in Fringe for its entire run. This, the fifth season, will be its last and its really a shame because its one of the best written and acted shows on TV. But like its name, its only been able to find a fringe audience.
After the Firefly debacle of 2002, I'm happy I got five seasons and a great show got a chance to breathe and live a little bit.
