Maybe it's my DC connection, but as soon as I saw Fandral in "Thor" I thought, "See, they could totally do a Green Arrow movie." Much the same as "Legion" sold me on a Hawkman movie.
I'm sure most comic fans look at Hawkeye as Green Arrow's Marvel counterpart, but its more entertaining to imagine its Fandral because Fandral is essentially a god and thus Green Arrow doesn't have a chance. Kind of like Charlie Brown, Lucy and the football.

ReplyDeleteI think the previously proposed SuperMax storyline would be cool. It was going to be a movie about Oliver Queen getting thrown in jail with all the criminals he put in there. But this was before straight-up superheroes were all the rage, so they were just going to pretend it wasn't Oliver Queen.
