My New Years resolution has been to be less stubborn. While there are those that would debate me on how well I am sticking to this, I think I’m doing a fantastic job. I’ve been trying new foods, listening to strange new music and reading different types of literature. The biggest step in my journey to a more open mind was watching a program I have long written off: Doctor Who.
It’s difficult to watch something with as much nerd hype surrounding it as Doctor Who. A couple of episodes into Christopher Eccleston’s first season and I can honestly say it’s not that bad. The show always seemed to contain some elements that I would enjoy like time travel and aliens. I'm actually kind of excited to see what all the dorky fuss is about.
I’m still of the opinion that no self respecting hero defends himself with something as dumb as a sonic screwdriver. Come on son, get a lightsaber! -Soss
