For two movies neither Soss nor I have seen ONE SECOND of, man did we get a lot of miles out of this argument. Just when we think its over, someone brings it up and the vicious circle of argument starts again. For being such an inseparable duo, we remain miles apart on the subject of The Purge plot.
The Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premiered last week, and I thought FOR SURE I'd see it. I did not. And I am in no hurry to do so. Part of that has to do with all the bad press it's been getting. For some pretty solid trailers, and pulling in $94M worldwide, every headline I see slams it pretty good.
Strange to think the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is still the high water mark for the brand on the big screen. We'll always have the current Nickelodeon animated show - the DEFINITIVE take on the pizza-loving ninjas.
