While I loved that this was a quieter story with lots of personal interaction, I HATED the myriad of artists tasked with bringing this book to the shelves. If you only credit Esad Ribic on the cover I expect 22 pages of his art.
Hickman's stories always tend to be too grand for what I want in an Avengers book. Everything shouldn't be intergalactic space battles and aliens with this team. I enjoyed Thor making burgers for his fellow teammates more then the entirety of the Infinity storyline.
While this was a good jumping on point for new readers the murky storytelling provided by the host of pencilers and inkers is a true disappointment. -Soss
