The Dark Side

It turns out very few people know who Black Manta is. Not all that surprising. What IS surprising, is that a lot of people don't know who Lex Luthor is. The A-list of supervillains is serious business and contrary to Image Matt and my own's standing on the Podcast, Lex may not make the cut. Being a fan of Superman and DC Comics in general, my blood pressure rose when I asked a mid-twenties co-worker if he "knew who Lex Luthor was" and he said, "you mean the wrestler?" No. NOT Lex LUGER. Even after clearing up the name, he still didn't know. But he also didn't know Magneto, so I don't feel so bad.

I was fully prepared to start a Black Manta Awareness campaign... maybe even a Kickstarter, but now I'm thinking I may have to spend my time on the image of who I THOUGHT was the second most famous villain of all time... Lex Luthor.

Ps. The first is the Joker. Then I guess Darth Vader if you want to count him. Then Lex?
