Don't Be A Dummy, Be Voltron

Now, I should have come to this realization years ago, but I guess with age comes wisdom and all that. The Voltron Force needs to form the giant robot to win every battle. So why not just START with the giant robot? Why waste all that time getting your ass kicked as individual lions when you can just bring the heat out of the gate? Why? Well, because that's not a very interesting show. And no matter how many times I see it, I always get a little twitch in the wiener when they form Voltron.

In other news, the current Man of Steel 2 Lex Luthor rumors have Bryan Cranston first in line for playing Superman's arch-foe... meh. Cranston is superb and all, but isn't he a little old? I'd prefer Mark Strong who not only IS younger, but looks much younger than his age.

Also, Warner Bros. is ready to open their checkbooks to get Christian Bale back in the role of Batman... also meh. Bale's time as the character is done. He did a good job. Lets close the Chris Nolan Batman chapter and get a new guy to bring new life to the hero in a new shared-universe franchise. They did a relatively quick casting turnaround with Spider-Man, no reason they can't do it with Batman.

Ps, after the above was written the Internet cracked open with the news Ben Affleck will be Batman in Man of Steel 2. While the majority of Twitter posts highlighted all the hate for this casting, allow me to say that after sleeping on it, I'm all in. I'm excited. But more on that in another post.
