The fairy tales we are told as children are tame. I know that some of them involve witches cooking children but that is just the stuff that they felt was family friendly. The original stories are much crazier.
The inspiration for this strip came from one of my favorite podcasts, Ryan McCormick's A Fireside Chat. The guest that day was Jazz Sexton who discussed the original version of Red Riding Hood.
