The release of The Dark Knight Rises spawned some rewatching of the rest of the Nolan series. As my brother so pointedly pointed out, above is the key moment this trilogy ends ... unless the trilogy continues with the first ever one-armed Batman. An interesting concept that I'm sure fans would have loved just as much as Sean Connnery-playing Darth Vader-playing-Bane.
To be honest, the movie really wasn't as bad as we here at Mc$oss made it seem. Though we did get a lot more mileage out of it than I thought.
So here's to the next big comic book theater extravaganza and may it be just as good a muse as The Dark Knight Rises.
