If you're familiar with this space, then you know I'm not a Dr. Who fan. I've determined a long time ago that its dumb and I can't seem to shake that prejudice. No matter how stunningly gorgeous I find Karen Gillan, I can't bring myself to watch it.
That however, doesn't stop my illogical fondness of the Tardis dress. I'm sure this has a lot to do with the fact that its worn primarily by chicks. Rarely do you see a man in the Tardis dress. What's most shocking is over two weekends of comicon's, every time I saw this dress, I was all in. Even if the wearer-in-question didn't meet my particular tastes, something about this dress elevated their stature in my horribly chauvinist lizard brain.
So thank you Hot Topic for making this particular article of clothing, which in turn makes Dr. Who just a little more tolerable.
