Stephen Amell and David Ramsey make their first appearance in McSoss. Kind of surprising since Arrow just started its third season and I've been a huge fan since the pilot.
There's no real telling when a property will make itself available as comic fodder. I would have thought Oompa Loompas would have made an appearance before last week, but no. I'd like to attribute it to Arrow being so solid, that it hasn't left me much to poke fun at. But Star Wars is solid and we but their chops all the time.
On a different note, Stephen Amell used to be on an under-appreciated HBO show called Hung, about Thomas Jane being a gigolo to support himself and his kids. It was funny and well-written but only made it three seasons. In the third season Amell played Jane's younger, rival gigolo. Only recently have I stopped seeing Amell as Hung's Jason and purely Oliver Queen. Weird.
