Star Wars #8
Eight issues in and we get our first appearance of a light saber! The restraint is a good thing. Under another writer we could have light saber fatigue by this point but Brian Wood has been very careful not to overuse any of the toys at his disposal.
I'm digging Ryan Kelly on pencils. He meshes his own style while pulling from the features of the actors nicely. It fits the story like a glove.
I'm also enjoying the added depth Wood has brought to Leia's story. It's not surprising that he has made her the focus of this first arc. -Soss
