DC's Villains Month is underway. Pretty soon we'll meet the villain of the McSoss future. But we won't be offering any 3D comics. Sorry, faithful readers.
As far as comic book news, things have been pretty quiet. Even the Pull-List has been pretty standard lately. But what I'd like to mention if you haven't read it is David Petersen's Mouse Guard. Petersen writes and draws the book starring fairly realistically illustrated mice who live in a Lord of the Rings-style world. They fight owls and snakes and have a very shaky truce with the weasels. It sounds silly, but its a very well done, well written book.
Though I'm not ready to compare Petersen to Tolkien, he does an amazing job building this world under our feet, complete with it's own histories and geographies. He builds an amazing mythology that feels like its centuries old.
If you get a chance, pick up a Mouse Guard book. It'll be worth your time.
