I’m loving Jon Bernthal’s take on the Punisher on this season of Daredevil. There have been many versions over the years but none that really got to the heart of the character like this Netflix version. Frank Castle is a complex and layered hero. I think there is a part in all of us that can relate to the drastic measures that he eventually takes when his family is taken away from him.
It seems like Marvel is going to move forward with a Netflix program dedicated to Frank Castle’s part of the world and I couldn’t be happier. I think the story of the Punisher is best told in the long form style that modern television has mastered. -Soss
