The Dark Depths

As I said a few posts ago, Locke & Key is one of the most consuming comics I've read in quite a while. The imagination that this book opens up is wonderful. Kudos to Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez for the visceral way they illustrate this concept, which is just like I drew it above. You can literally open the top of your head and physically remove or add things just by digging around with your hand.

Did I really kill a drifter while homeless just to survive? Some things are better left as mystery.
