Zack Snyder is a fine director. I enjoyed the adrenaline rush that was 300 and thought that he did an admirable job of filming the unfilmable movie Watchmen. Sure, he changed the end of the movie essentially altering the entire story, but it takes big balls to film 3 hours of giant, blue penis.
With that said I'm not so sure he is the right director for the reboot of the Superman franchise. Superman is grandma's apple pie, classic, warm and rich with tradition. You know, “Truth, Justice and the American way.” With Snyder at the helm of this film, we all could be eating said apple pie while doing cocaine on a roller coaster during a thunderstorm.
