The Star Wars comic books and cartoons can be guilty of reusing a lot of the same aliens and styles of characters. Even when they create brand-new characters like the Inquisitors they tend to look and feel like things that we've seen in the past.
While it would be nice for the creators to come up with some more original ideas I don't want them to think too outside of the box. Jaxxon, a character created for the 1980s Star Wars Marvel books, feels completely out of place. I'm not certain if he's related to Captain Bucky O'Hare but I'm pretty sure they grew up in the same neighborhood. -Soss
