This is really $oss' brain child more than mine. He's read more Robert Kirkman than I have and has been working on the theory that Kirkman doesn't really write The Walking Dead. In his mind, compared to Kirkman's other drivel, The Walking Dead is a divine text. A true work of art. Garbage like Science Dog and Invincible (which I like a lot) can't hold a candle to the almighty Walking Dead.
Personally, I'd like to think Kirkman has sold a part of his soul to the underworld to gain such fine storytelling prowess. But I'm sure that's a strip for another day.
