I would consider myself a DC Scholar. I own a DC Encyclopedia. I've read the entire Wikipedia pages for countless characters and various DC minutia. So I think I'm pretty well versed in how the DC Universe and its science works. But goddamn if I could figure out how the fuck we got the DCnU out of Flashpoint.
This would be one of those moments when the creators say, "Don't scrutinize, just enjoy the story." Its part of Nerd DNA to scrutinize. We can't just "enjoy the story."
